Hopper is looking for a Sr Backend Engineer to build and operate high-quality API and full-stack solutions as part of the Hopper Technology Solutions group. You will join a cross-functional team focused on bringing new features to market and providing support for partners.
What You'll Do
- Design, build and operate API and full-stack solutions.
- Operate autonomously while working closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure alignment.
- Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the product team, other internal teams, and external partner teams.
What We're Looking For
- Strong product thinking anchored in the customer.
- Experience with, or a willingness to learn, distributed system development in Scala.
Nice to Have
- A natural drive to fearlessly deep dive into an unknown code base while keeping focused on delivering results quickly.
