Vetsource is hiring a Software Engineer - Back-End with specialized experience in Oracle ERP to join our team. You will take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from analysis to deployment, building products that directly impact our customers in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the entire application lifecycle, from initial analysis and design to coding, testing, and documentation.
- Partner with teammates and management to build and maintain robust features for internal and external customers.
- Navigate complex challenges and manage multiple moving pieces to deliver high-quality solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on working experience with the finance and accounting modules of an Oracle ERP system.
- Some experience in designing and developing large-scale systems.
- Good proficiency with Java, along with some experience with Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Data, and Spring AOP.
- Some experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with professional and empathetic interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to evolving project needs.
