We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our tech team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will play a central role in developing our product from concept through launch, focusing on building a clean, scalable backend while collaborating across the full development lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Be deeply involved in all aspects of the development of our product: from idea and brainstorming, to mockups and wireframes, to user stories and specs, to design, coding, QA testing and launch.
- Write beautiful, structured and well-documented code in Java Spring Boot Framework, with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka and Vertx as best buddies.
- Work mostly on the backend, but sometimes dive into other areas as needed.
- Take full responsibility for the code you write. You build, ship and fix it if it breaks.
- Work a lot on 3rd party integrations and making sure they’re alive and well, especially payment gateways.
- Contribute to an awesome team spirit by being both helpful and respectful of the people around you.
What We're Looking For
- Deep involvement in all aspects of product development lifecycle
- Ability to write beautiful, structured and well-documented code in Java Spring Boot Framework
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and Vertx
- Familiarity with Docker and Jenkins
- Ability to work mostly on the backend while being flexible to contribute elsewhere
- Full ownership of code: build, ship, and fix when broken
- Experience working on 3rd party integrations, especially payment gateways
- Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to team culture through helpfulness and respect
