AIG is looking for an Actuary (Analista Pleno) to play a key role in quantifying risk, pricing insurance, and reserving losses for our major insurance operating companies around the world. You'll collaborate with partners in Finance, Claims, Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management to help improve how we predict, manage, and mitigate risk.
What You'll Do
- Perform Local Gaap Technical Provisions (UPR, LTP-UPR (RVNE), IBNYR, IBNER, ALAE, ULAE, RVR) for Insurance and Reinsurance Companies.
- Perform Consistency Tests and monitor Local Gaap Technical Provisions Adequacy.
- Perform Local Gaap Liability Test Adequacy (TAP) and Minimum Capital Requirement (CMR) as required by the Local Regulator.
- Prepare Reserves and Products Technical Notes according to regulatory requirements.
- Perform Monthly Closing of Books and Statistical Data Deliveries required by the Local Regulator during team vacation leave.
- Conduct Actuarial Studies required by the Local Regulator.
- Prepare the ALM Report and Coverage of Commitment Report for the Investment team.
- Attend the Local Gaap Annual External Audit Process.
- Manage Local Gaap Regulator Letters and all other related Local Gaap Reports and Activities.
- Develop Reports and KPIs.
- Support the actuarial team and manage databases.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience with Reserving Calculation on UPR (PPNG), LTP (RVNE) and IBNR.
- Previous experience with Reserving Methods: DFM (Triang. RuOff), BF, IELR (Sinistralidade Esperada).
- Previous experience with Reserve Consistency Tests, local closing, FIP SUSEP and SUSEP Statistical Data.
- Programming proficiency in SAS.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Math.
- Personal organization, good communication, initiative, and analytical skills are valued.
- Willingness and ability to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
Nice to Have
- Basic to Intermediate English skills.
- Previous experience with Liability Test Adequacy Calculation.
- Proficiency in Python is a differential.
- Experience with MIBA.
