SCOR is hiring an Actuarial Analyst for its US model development team. In this role, you will collaborate with a variety of internal teams, including Experience Analysis, Pricing, Finance, and international SCOR offices. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, enhancing model capabilities, and analyzing and presenting results to stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Support actuarial modeling projects, including regular model releases, annual assumption updates, and process improvements.
- Partner with valuation and reporting teams to enhance models and processes for actuarial reporting.
- Provide occasional support for quarterly production work as needed.
- Develop automation and analysis tools to support the quarter-end valuation process.
- Perform financial impact assessments and help explain financial results and business implications.
- Continuously improve end-to-end modeling processes, focusing on full automation of the quarterly Model Production process.
- Help automate the production of Prophet model results and create insightful analyses of those results.
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements, update model capabilities, and interpret and present findings.
- Collaborate with teams like US Pricing to understand their needs, build and test new model capabilities, and run models to quantify impacts.
Team & Environment
You will be an integral part of the US model development team, working closely with a cross-functional group of stakeholders.
