MedCerts is hiring an Accounts Receivable Associate to oversee daily accounts receivable functions and ensure the accuracy of assigned student revenue channels. This remote role involves processing financial transactions, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with collections.
What You'll Do
- Ensure accurate data entry, coding, and allocation of student invoices for assigned revenue channels
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including processing and monitoring incoming payments in compliance with policies
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and research unidentified payments
- Identify accounts requiring adjustments and execute them
- Process student cases weekly and reconcile revenue for assigned channels monthly
- Conduct payment reconciliation on accounts as needed
- Assist with collections on outstanding accounts receivable
- Provide outstanding customer service regarding email requests
- Keep the AR Manager informed of activities and significant issues
- Assist in identifying and decreasing outstanding receivables and reconciling the student deposit account
- Partner with other AR staff to cross-train and build a cohesive team
- Create processes and procedures for assigned student revenue channels as needed
- Participate in regular staff meetings
- Complete special projects and tasks as directed
What We're Looking For
- Associates Degree or 3 years of training in accounting and billing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, but also be a self-starter and work independently
- Adept at handling multiple demands calmly and effectively while maintaining attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus

This role has no formal supervisory responsibilities and reports to the AR Manager.
