Hire Hangar is looking for an Accounting Specialist to oversee accounts payable and receivable operations for a fast-paced business specializing in cosmetic and healthcare products. You will play a key role in daily transactional accounting, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth customer billing communications.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle AP and AR processes in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile ERP transactions with QBO to ensure accurate financial records
- Generate and issue customer invoices; monitor aging reports
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and basic reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with industry standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience within the cosmetic, medical, aesthetics, or healthcare industry
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP-integrated workflows
- Strong understanding of invoicing, reconciliations, and high-volume AP/AR operations
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prior remote work experience
- Fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana)
- Ideally worked with US or UK-based companies
Nice to Have
- Experience in product-based or inventory-driven accounting environments
- Familiarity with compliance documentation or audit preparation
- Exposure to revenue recognition within regulated industries
