Maximor AI is hiring a founding-team Accounting Solutions Consultant. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of accounting operations, customer workflow discovery, and AI solution implementation. You’ll be responsible for pre-sale discovery of accounting processes and translating real-world workflows into a production-ready, automated solution.

What You'll Do

Partner with Account Executives to understand customers’ end-to-end GL and sub-ledger workflows.
Lead accounting-focused discovery sessions with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Finance leaders.
Evaluate ERP configurations, close processes, and accounting policies to determine automatable workflows, required configuration, and out-of-scope items.
Define the minimum set of data access or accounting artifacts required to confidently scope functionality and pricing.
Help shape solution design and pricing by balancing accounting accuracy, controls, and delivery feasibility.
Translate real-world accounting workflows into practical, automated solutions using Maximor.
Configure Maximor to align with customer accounting policies, ERP structures, and close controls.
Support pilots and early implementations with a strong focus on accuracy, reconciliation integrity, and audit readiness.
Partner with Engineering and Accounting team to clarify accounting logic, edge cases, and expected outputs.
Ensure what was established in pre-sale discovery is delivered correctly in production.
Act as the accounting authority internally, collaborating with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap decisions.
Surface recurring accounting patterns, edge cases, and constraints observed across customers.
Help define discovery, scoping, and implementation playbooks as Maximor scales.

What We're Looking For

7–10+ years of GL accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry).
Strong experience operating in complex close environments.
Hands-on experience with multiple enterprise ERP systems.
Experience working with close management tools such as FloQast or BlackLine.
Practical exposure to sub-ledgers such as revenue recognition, fixed assets, prepaids/amortization, and accruals.
Strong understanding of accounting controls and audit considerations.
Advanced Excel skills (large datasets, reconciliations, pivots, complex formulas).
Comfortable working directly with Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Finance leaders.
Able to make clear judgment calls when working with incomplete or messy data.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with at least a couple of: NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion.
