Extend Your Team is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead the daily reconciliation processes and guide a team of analysts. You will apply your detail-oriented approach to complex credit card and deposit data while supporting broader accounting functions and reporting directly to the Controller.

What You'll Do

Manage a team of 5 accounting analysts
Review the daily reconciliation process for credit card transactions, including purchases, accrued interest, fees, and payments
Review the daily reconciliation process for deposit transactions, including incoming deposits, withdrawals, reward redemptions, and interchange transactions
Prepare franchise and tax related filings quarterly and annually
Assist the Controller with managing month end close, including reviewing and posting card-related entries and preparing monthly and quarterly investor reporting
Provide the Controller with financial audit support
Continue to help develop and support your direct reports by providing periodic one-on-ones and setting and measuring progress against individual and company goals

What We're Looking For

Prior experience managing an accounting team
Prior experience with reconciling credit card transactions
Prior experience with month end close processes
Proficient with Excel
Superb communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
Proficiency, speed and accuracy in written communication
Fluency, clarity and good diction in English
Flexibility to work US Pacific time 8 AM to 4 PM (with a half hour break)
Great organizational skills and time management abilities
Experience using communication tools such as ZenDesk, task management tools, Google Drive, and Email
Detail oriented
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Must be based in the Philippines
