About the Role

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the organization's strategic goals. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing a team of accounting professionals, and collaborating with other departments to drive financial success.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the accounting team's daily activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage the general ledger and month-end close process.
  • Prepare and review financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration.
  • Prepare and review budget and forecast reports.
  • Analyze financial data to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Oversee tax reporting and compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports for management.
  • Coordinate with the treasury department on cash management.
  • Manage the annual audit process.
  • Oversee the implementation of new accounting software.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for the accounting team.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data in the ERP system.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience with treasury management.
  • Knowledge of cash management processes.
  • Experience with implementing new accounting software.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting standards.
