Graham is hiring an Accounting Clerk to join its Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will provide vital accounting and transactional support for Graham Income Trust and its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you will maintain project accounting processes to ensure clear, accurate, and timely financial information.
What You'll Do
- Analyze accounts, prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations, and manage less complex open item accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, analyses, and basic memos/presentations to support decision-making.
- Execute accurate transactional processing, support month-end and quarter-end activities, and maintain required documentation and backups.
- Adhere to accounting standards, internal controls, and governance frameworks, and support audit deliverables.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, maintain calendars and deadlines, and support tools and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a certificate, diploma, or degree program in Finance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the construction, engineering, or heavy manufacturing industry.
