Sleek is hiring an Accountant (Hong Kong)

About the Role

Sleek seeks an Accountant to support our Hong Kong operations by managing client offboarding with accuracy and compliance. In this role, you will oversee financial reconciliations and documentation to ensure transparency, reduce risk, and maintain financial integrity for seamless client transitions.

What You'll Do

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes.
  • Verify transaction accuracy in the ledger and perform partial checks of posting processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Enter data, maintain records, launch reports, and process accounts receivable and payable.
  • Assist in preparing management accounts.
  • Maintain full sets of books for a portfolio of clients using the Xero accounting system, including preparing payments, handling fixed assets, raising journals, and preparing financial reports.
  • Prepare Unaudited Financial Statements, monthly MPF submissions, and provide payroll support for clients.
  • Understand and adhere to Hong Kong financial regulations and legislation.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants.
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting-related duties.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accountant.
  • Must be located in the Philippines or India.
  • Ownership: Reliability, accountability, and seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Humility: Open-mindedness to feedback and willingness to learn.
  • Structured Thinking: Sound judgment to balance the needs of the organisation, team, and customers.
  • Data driven: Ability to use sound data to support strategies and review initiatives.
  • Ability to have tough conversations in a positive way, handling difficult interpersonal situations with kindness.
