About the Role

Sleek is looking for an Accountant (Client Management) to join our team focused on the Singapore market. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to a portfolio of clients, ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with a team of experienced accountants in our fast-paced, cloud-based environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a high-volume portfolio of accounting clients as the key point of contact.
  • Be accountable for service quality, timeliness, accurate billing, client relationships, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Plan work effectively and provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff to ensure deliverables meet scope and timelines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and financial reporting matters as regulated by ACRA.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
  • Review and/or prepare management accounts, corporate tax computations, payroll reports, GST reports, and other statutory filings.
  • Provide basic consultancy advice to clients on various accounting, tax, payroll, and corporate secretarial matters.
  • Prepare Unaudited/Group Unaudited Financial Statements and XBRL for clients with zero errors.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

What We're Looking For

  • A recognised degree or diploma in Accountancy.
  • A good understanding of SFRS and Singapore regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.
  • Resourcefulness and experience with various productivity software.
  • A self-motivated, positive, proactive, and detail-oriented attitude.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to VUCA thinking and contribute to process improvement.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
  • Ownership, humility, and structured thinking as core behavioral attributes.

Nice to Have

  • Professional certification with ACCA, CPA, or CA.
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience for candidates who are not or yet to be certified.
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience for professionally certified candidates.
  • Experience with cloud accounting software, with Xero (preferably at least one year) being a definite plus.
