ReWorks Solutions is looking for a full-time Accountant (CA) to join our team remotely. You will be responsible for comprehensive bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance, working US Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and manage QuickBooks Online, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial forecasting.
- Generate regular financial reports for leadership, providing clear insights and commentary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants or auditors.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met consistently and accurately.
What We're Looking For
- CPA-equivalent qualification (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) or a strong, proven accounting background with relevant experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional accountability.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
