Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring an Account Technology Director to provide senior leadership and strategic oversight for technology solutions that enhance account operations and drive business value through data insights. This role contributes directly to a specific client’s strategic objectives while leading and mentoring a team of technology professionals.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with account operations and business goals, driving adoption to improve efficiency.
- Partner with internal advisory teams to assess innovations and emerging technologies for potential adoption.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technology, data, and business intelligence issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, account leadership, and internal teams.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication, presenting strategies and acting as a liaison between technology and business units.
- Oversee the technology project portfolio, ensuring proper governance, prioritization, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
- Implement project management methodologies, monitor progress, and manage technology budgets effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and opportunities.
- Support the scoping, design, development, and implementation of technology solutions while overseeing the evaluation and integration of new platforms.
- Manage the delivery of technology changes driven by ecosystem updates, client requirements, regulatory mandates, and partner enhancements.
- Establish and maintain technology standards and best practices.
- Champion the adoption of analytics and AI tools within the account.
- Support data projects along the established roadmap, facilitating communication between the account team, client, and data analytics teams.
- Address client information security concerns related to data initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Effectively delegate tasks, encourage professional development, and support team members.
- Ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to cybersecurity policies and guidelines.
- Facilitate cybersecurity processes, address potential roadblocks, and promote security awareness across all technology activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology strategy, with a focus on account operations and data analytics.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technology initiatives and delivering tangible business results.
- Experience managing teams and working in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Understanding of and ability to navigate contracts (MSAs, SOWs, subcontracts, KPIs) to protect business interests and mitigate risk.
- Understanding of data analytics techniques and tools, and their application in driving actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Strong team management skills and a track record of effectively leading and developing a high-performing team.
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and create an environment of accountability and collaboration.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience working with a wide range of technologies, platforms, and software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance and security regulations related to technology and data management.

- MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 USD per year.
