About the Role

Ingram Micro is looking for an Account Representative to join our Advanced Solutions department. In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue, driving profit, and advancing market share by positioning and selling Ingram's products, programs, and services. Your primary focus will be on growth acquisition and creating strategic plans to enhance reseller go-to-market growth.

What You'll Do

  • Generate revenue, drive profit, and advance market share by positioning and selling Ingram's products, programs, and services.
  • Identify and proactively engage in business and sales opportunities to establish strong customer relationships.
  • Focus on growth acquisition and perform tactical selling.
  • Create strategic plans that enhance reseller go-to-market growth, sales initiatives, and strategies.
  • Maintain contact with accounts at all levels, including executive, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
  • Focus on account support within territories of significant strategic importance to the organization's long-term success.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of two years of sales/customer service experience (preferably in a related industry) or one year of technology/distribution experience in a sales, support, or customer service capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Selling skills necessary to identify opportunities, position solutions, and close deals.
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving agility.
  • Moderate knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work as a team member, partner effectively, multi-task, and respond to rapid change.
  • Ability to perform duties with accuracy, a strong degree of urgency, and minimal supervision.
  • Able to handle large quantities of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to travel when requested.

  • A bachelor’s degree.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Manager of Sales.

  • Compensation range: USD $43,100.00 - $73,200.00 per year.
