Botrista was looking for an Account Manager - New York

Botrista is hiring an Account Manager in New York City, NY, to manage a portfolio of food service, enterprise, quick service, and small business accounts. You will blend customer relationship management with the installation and launch of our beverage program, with performance measured by machine uptime and drink sales volume. We are a team committed to one common goal: Selling more craft beverages.

What You'll Do

  • Drive real growth in sales and profit by focusing on account health, including operating efficiency, inventory management, marketing collateral, and front line training.
  • Connect and coach front line teams to drive beverage sales, communicate with managers to reinforce standards, and collaborate with owners on profitability and waste tracking.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision internally and with key external partners, communicating the reasons for product offerings and the importance of standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous process, product, and people improvement, charting your own path and contributing at a high level in every aspect of the business.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment uptime to ensure minimal downtime across all assigned locations, providing level 1.5 technical support to resolve escalations before field service intervention.
  • Utilize the routing-based application to optimize daily tasks and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Work with Account Manager peers and cross-functional home office departments as a go-to member of the team.
  • Be the voice of the operator: understand their needs and business model limitations, identify and eliminate barriers to success, maintain machine health and cleanliness, and own level 1.5 repairs and machine installation.
  • Oversee menu deployment and tech stack integration, including digital menu, third-party delivery, loyalty program, and location app, while evaluating product mix performance and providing menu recommendations.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of what motivates restaurant and food service operators, fluently explaining how the program benefits their business model, and track all accounts for frequent reporting and check-ins.

  • A process-oriented mindset: ability to plan and manage product development stages while developing and documenting workflow processes.

  • Equal comfort with big picture strategic planning and the details of tactical execution, with ease switching between macro and micro views.
