About the Role
The Account Executive will identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within the SMB segment across Southeast Asia, using a data-driven and customer-centric approach to exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the SMB sector across Southeast Asian markets
- Conduct outreach through calls, emails, and virtual meetings to connect with prospects
- Understand customer needs and present tailored solutions that address business challenges
- Manage a full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract closing
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer success
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Use CRM tools to track activities, forecast revenue, and report performance
- Stay informed about regional market trends and competitive landscape
- Adapt communication style to suit diverse cultural and business environments
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and objections
- Negotiate terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product and sales knowledge
- Share customer feedback with product and marketing teams
- Support the development of localized sales strategies
- Build long-term relationships to drive customer retention and expansion
- Represent the company at virtual industry events and networking forums
- Follow compliance and data privacy guidelines in all customer interactions
- Align outreach efforts with marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Provide input on sales process improvements based on field experience
Nice to Have
- Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions
- Prior work with distributed or global teams
- Fluency in additional Southeast Asian languages
- Background in consultative or solution-based selling
- Exposure to sales automation tools like Outreach or Salesloft
