About the Role
The engineer will design and implement key features for the iOS application, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the long-term architecture and stability of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness
- Diagnose and fix bugs across multiple devices and OS versions
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Stay current with iOS platform developments and best practices
- Improve app stability and crash rates
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs
- Contribute to architectural decisions for iOS components
- Ensure compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines
- Support localization and accessibility features
- Monitor app performance using analytics and monitoring tools
- Drive improvements in build and release processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine
- Knowledge of offline data persistence strategies
- Familiarity with audio or media processing frameworks
- Published apps on the App Store
- Experience scaling applications to large user bases
- Background in accessibility features for mobile
- Understanding of internationalization and localization
- Experience with dependency managers like Swift Package Manager
- Contributions to open-source iOS projects
- Knowledge of machine learning integration on-device
