About the Role
This role involves managing a portfolio of state, local, and education customers in Texas, with a focus on expanding business through relationship development, strategic planning, and consistent sales execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within state, local, and education accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop strategic account plans to grow revenue in assigned territory
- Conduct regular field visits and customer check-ins
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs
- Track and report sales activities and forecasts accurately
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive landscape
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up and support
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide feedback to marketing on customer insights
- Support onboarding of new clients
- Maintain CRM data with up-to-date account information
- Coordinate with distribution partners when applicable
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Promote product training for clients and partners
- Adapt sales approach based on customer type and needs
- Comply with all sales policies and procedures
