As an Account Executive in the mortgage space, you will lead client acquisition by initiating contact with potential brokers through calls, emails, and follow-up engagement. Your primary focus will be building and sustaining strong partnerships with both new and existing mortgage brokers to expand market reach and increase funded loan volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound outreach to identify and connect with prospective broker partners
- Log and manage all client interactions, pipeline progress, and follow-ups using the company CRM system
- Develop long-term relationships with brokers through consistent communication and reliable support
- Deliver product training sessions covering loan programs, compliance standards, and submission requirements
- Collaborate with brokers and internal loan teams to execute marketing initiatives that boost originations
- Stay up to date on underwriting criteria, policy updates, and program eligibility changes
- Assist in pre-qualifying and reviewing loan files to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide ongoing service throughout the lending cycle to maintain broker satisfaction and efficiency
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least one to two years of experience in mortgage operations—retail, wholesale, or correspondent lending—and a demonstrated history in sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms is required, along with strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy in fast-paced settings. You must be comfortable making regular outbound contacts and committed to a service-oriented approach.
Wholesale lending experience is preferred, as is an established network of broker relationships or the ability to rapidly grow a client base.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers an on-target earnings potential of $100,000 annually, with top performers regularly exceeding $150,000. You’ll receive a guaranteed monthly draw of $2,929.34, applied against uncapped commission earnings. Additional incentives include eligibility for quarterly performance bonuses. Commission structure rewards volume of funded loans, allowing high achievers to maximize income.

Work Environment
