Role Overview
As Account Executive Manager, you'll shape the direction of a growing sales team during a pivotal stage of company expansion. This position combines frontline leadership with active selling, requiring a disciplined approach to team development, pipeline execution, and strategic alignment across go-to-market functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–10 account executives, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecasting sessions to ensure accuracy and forward momentum
- Guide reps through discovery, proof-of-value planning, and deal strategy refinement
- Work closely with solutions engineering leaders to streamline demo workflows and technical handoffs
- Contribute to defining ideal customer profiles, market segmentation, and pricing strategies
- Recruit, onboard, and accelerate new sales talent as the organization scales
- Implement structured processes and rhythms to support consistent performance across the team
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of sales experience, including 2–5 years in a management capacity
- Proven track record managing account executives in complex, technical SaaS environments
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individual contributors
- Experience operating effectively in fast-moving, early-stage go-to-market settings
- Strong self-direction and initiative
- Skilled in forecasting accuracy and pipeline governance
- History of successful collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
- Clear, persuasive communication style with the ability to craft compelling narratives
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, with team members expected in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus one flexible in-office day each week. Additional in-office requirements may apply depending on role specifics. Collaboration hubs are located in New York City, San Francisco, and Barcelona.
