As an Account Executive focused on the Enterprise market, you will lead new business development across the Columbus, Ohio region, working remotely with a strong emphasis on local engagement. Your primary responsibility is to secure new client relationships within the small to medium enterprise space, consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly sales targets through a disciplined, outcome-driven sales approach.
What You'll Do
You'll manage a dynamic pipeline of 10–20 enterprise opportunities each quarter, guiding prospects from initial contact through to closed deals. This includes initiating discovery conversations, leveraging partner networks, attending industry events, and conducting targeted outreach to identify high-potential accounts. You will serve as the central point of coordination, aligning pre-sales engineering, marketing, channel partners, and business development teams to advance key opportunities.
Lead weekly territory planning sessions and maintain clear communication across departments to ensure alignment. You’ll also refine positioning strategies by understanding competitive offerings and emphasizing how the platform uniquely addresses enterprise challenges. Your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and prioritize strategic deals will be critical to long-term success.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of direct or channel sales experience, with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Proven ability in prospecting and managing multiple concurrent sales cycles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and executive audiences
- Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and technology tools
- Capacity to adapt quickly to evolving product, market, and competitive landscapes
- Experience selling within a structured sales methodology
- Ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior success selling in the North Carolina market
- Background in SaaS, cybersecurity, or technology services
- Bachelor’s degree
