About the Role

Orange Barrel Media + IKE Smart City is looking for an Account Executive to join our Local Sales Team in Dallas. This role is an opportunity for an early-career sales professional to build a foundation in media sales with an innovative company in the Out-of-Home industry. You'll focus on prospecting new business, building strong client relationships, and developing creative advertising solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct research and prospect new clients, proposing targeted marketing leads based on need
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Manage your time, travel, and resources independently to maximize sales calls
  • Target industries for annual, seasonal, and short-term advertising buys
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and agreements
  • Collaborate with the internal creative department and clients to develop effective campaigns
  • Negotiate and execute contracts that optimize for a win-win result
  • Manage, maintain, and grow the current client base
  • Maintain excellent external and internal relationships
  • Review space availability for clients and follow up with detailed proposals
  • Search out new business leads and trending products

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of sales experience
  • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive drive to win new business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and translate client needs into a viable media plan
  • Analytical thinker who can quickly assess unfamiliar situations and offer creative solutions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Sales experience in media, advertising, or B2B sales
  • Previous experience in OOH, Digital, or Broadcast media

Team & Environment

You will be joining the Local Sales Team in Dallas.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $60,000 – $75,000 per year plus commission
  • 401k match
