About the Role

Liberty Mutual Canada is hiring an Account Analyst to join our underwriting team. You will be responsible for supporting the management of new and renewal business accounts, performing data analysis, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of policies throughout their lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Gather, organize, and enter data into pricing models for new submissions and renewal accounts.
  • Perform preliminary analyses of exposure, loss, and coverage to assist underwriters.
  • Oversee workflow for moderate to complex accounts from clearance through policy issuance.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, providing support to underwriters and agents/brokers.
  • Process rating requests and issue policies, audits, endorsements, and cancellations for commercial lines.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and detailed processing instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple profit centers and business partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary education (Bachelors, Diploma, etc.) and/or at least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with P&C or Specialty policies.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Progress or interest in pursuing an industry-recognized designation (i.e., CIP).
