Booz Allen Hamilton was looking for an Access Control Generalist

Join Booz Allen Hamilton as an Access Control Generalist, providing onsite and remote client support across multiple locations in a team-oriented environment. You'll leverage your knowledge of physical security environments and systems to help advance our security infrastructure through modern tools, data analytics, and automation.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with corporate Security, Facilities, and operational support stakeholders to ensure mission and facility readiness and security.
  • Act as the security representative, explaining and enforcing security policies and procedures to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Issue badges to employees and non-employees, verifying citizenship and security clearances.
  • Troubleshoot access control, alarm, and visitor management system issues.
  • Support vendor management and participate in deploying new security technologies.
  • Monitor access control and other security systems performance, conduct audits, and generate analytical reports to support incident response.
  • Serve as a technical SME for troubleshooting challenges related to security systems, badges, and other operational needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working in physical security, security technology implementation, or security operations.
  • Experience with using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management, security technology deployments, or upgrades.
  • Ability to support processing facility access badge requests and verify citizenship and security clearances for new hires.
  • Ability to manage facility keys and coordinate with locksmiths and other security vendors.
  • Ability to process security-related helpdesk tickets and process replacement fees for lost credentials.
  • Ability to assist with security-related incidents for both home and remote office locations.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automation or analytics tools for physical security.
  • Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001/28000, or frameworks related to physical security.
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills to manage complex, multi-site projects.
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills, including in technical and operational contexts.
