Responsibilities
- Establish a clear vision for school culture and develop systems that promote positive student relationships, consistent behavior management, and effective classroom routines across all teaching staff.
- Provide coaching and professional development to teachers and leadership teams to strengthen classroom practices and student engagement strategies.
- Build robust instructional systems that support deep content mastery, high-quality teaching, and data analysis to improve student outcomes.
- Lead instructional leaders to refine teaching practices and implement targeted interventions based on student performance data.
- Develop and maintain efficient operational systems to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-managed campus environment.
- Supervise the operations assistant principal to meet enrollment and attendance targets while building their leadership capabilities.
- Create structured processes for family engagement, including onboarding new families and maintaining regular communication about student progress and school activities.
- Ensure families are treated as essential partners in student success through consistent outreach and involvement opportunities.
- Guide hiring, retention, and advancement decisions to build a high-performing staff team aligned with school goals.
- Foster a positive staff culture through strong coaching, performance management, and leadership development systems.
- Design and oversee the strategic use of campus discretionary funds to support academic and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with operations and administrative staff to monitor budget execution throughout the school year.
- Ensure full compliance with all state and federal regulations through regular training and systemized accountability measures.
- Support staff in completing mandatory compliance requirements and maintain campus-wide adherence to policies.
- Lead special education and related services programs to ensure students with IEPs, 504 plans, and English learner status receive appropriate support.
- Implement systems that meet state and federal mandates for special program delivery and documentation.
- Develop data collection and analysis frameworks that inform school-level decision-making and instructional adjustments.
- Maintain accurate, accessible data systems that enable timely responses to student learning needs.
- Oversee the professional growth of assistant principals and other leaders to sustain effective practices across departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership or organizational needs.
