Role Overview
We are looking for a freelance academic editor to support the development of high-quality academic content tailored to student needs. The ideal candidate will take ownership of editorial processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and precision across all materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead content management and coordinate the stages of the writing process from start to finish
- Review drafts for factual accuracy, grammar, structure, and adherence to formatting standards
- Define and uphold editorial benchmarks, including style, tone, and quality expectations
- Perform detailed proofreading and substantive editing to enhance readability and academic rigor
- Ensure all content complies with ethical publishing practices and relevant legal standards
- Collaborate closely with writers and other members of the editorial team to deliver polished final products
