Moog Aircraft Group is hiring experienced Assembly & Test Technicians for a 12-month fixed-term contract at our Wolverhampton facility. You will work to exceptionally close tolerances on complex, bespoke mechanical products critical to the aerospace industry.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and test flight-critical actuators and subcomponents with high precision and accuracy.
- Use measuring equipment like micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges to inspect component parts.
- Work from engineering drawings and component maintenance manuals.
- Complete quality audits and take responsibility for aspects of the A&T process, including the release to service of repaired actuators.
What We're Looking For
- Apprentice trained (or equivalent) ideally within Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience within an engineering or manufacturing role.
- Good knowledge of assembly and test manufacturing.
- Competent in reading and following different set procedures.
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained.
Nice to Have
- Experience within aerospace or related industries.
- Experience working within an aerospace quality system.
