LCS Financial Services Corporation is hiring a 3rd Party Collections Specialist to achieve recovery goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting outbound and inbound calls, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

What You'll Do

Achieve recovery goals by making outbound and handling inbound collection calls.
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on financial analysis of a borrower's ability to pay.
Use skip tracing tools to locate borrowers and assets.
Manage a work queue and document accounts following company policies and procedures.
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations including FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, GLBA, and HIPAA.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 2 years of previous collections and call center experience.
A minimum of 2 years of third-party collections experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluent in English with strong communication and influencing skills.
Effective listening techniques, patience, and the ability to manage stress.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Ability to analyze borrower situations and negotiate repayment.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local collection laws and regulations.
Flexibility and ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Strong work ethic including attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
High standards of professionalism and strong attention to detail.
Goal-oriented with the ability to prioritize work and focus consistently on the task at hand.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with proper grammar and telephone etiquette.
Must successfully pass a comprehensive background and drug screening.
