About the Role
You will lead the 2D art team, defining artistic standards, overseeing asset creation, and working closely with design and development teams to deliver high-quality visuals that align with the project's vision.
Responsibilities
- Direct the 2D art team to maintain a cohesive visual style
- Develop and document art pipelines and production workflows
- Review and approve all 2D assets before integration
- Collaborate with art and design leads to define project aesthetics
- Mentor junior artists and support professional development
- Ensure consistency in character, environment, and UI artwork
- Manage timelines and deliverables for art milestones
- Troubleshoot visual issues during implementation
- Provide regular feedback during production cycles
- Oversee the creation of concept art and final assets
- Maintain quality control across all visual deliverables
- Coordinate with animation and VFX teams for asset integration
- Optimize artwork for performance and technical constraints
- Lead art critiques and creative reviews
- Align art production with narrative and gameplay goals
