Responsibilities
- Support the investment team with market research, data collection, and competitive landscape analysis across FinTech sub-sectors
- Help maintain deal flow trackers, CRM databases, and internal knowledge repositories
- Assist in preparing investment memos, meeting notes, and presentation materials for the team
- Contribute to portfolio company monitoring by gathering KPIs, news updates, and performance data
- Support fund operations and platform tasks including LP reporting preparation, event coordination, and process improvement projects
- Participate in a structured training programme covering VC fundamentals, FinTech landscape, investment analysis, and professional development
- Attend team meetings, deal reviews, and expert guest speaker sessions to build your understanding of the VC ecosystem
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme (penultimate or final year preferred) in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated interest in venture capital, startups, technology, or financial services through coursework, student organisations, personal projects, or relevant extracurriculars
- Strong analytical mindset with solid Excel / spreadsheet skills and comfort working with data
- Genuine curiosity about venture capital, FinTech, and technology-driven innovation, particularly in the Middle East & Africa
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, small-team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to present ideas clearly
- Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment using Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
