Elevate K-12 is hiring a 2025 - 2026 K-5 Bilingual Generalist Nationwide Certified Teacher to teach part-time and remotely for the upcoming school year. You will be livestreamed into public school classrooms across the country to provide live instruction that would otherwise be unavailable.
What You'll Do
- Provide live, virtual instruction to K-5 students via livestream.
- Maintain commitment and consistency in attendance as the teacher of record.
- Adapt to taking classes that start throughout the semester.
- Maintain an elevated level of professionalism with students, Classroom Coaches, and school staff.
- Think critically and adapt quickly to ensure optimal student outcomes.
- Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar.
- Maintain online organizational and professional skills.
What We're Looking For
- An active, verifiable K-12 teaching certification in the US for Generalist.
- Certified and experienced with teaching students in grades K-5.
- Must physically reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year.
- A daily available time block of at least three consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST.
- Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours.
- A laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- A passion for remarkable teaching.
- Fluently bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) and comfortable teaching classes in Spanish.
- Willing to seek teaching certificate reciprocity in other states.
Team & Environment
Teachers are Independent Contractors (1099). Every classroom has a Classroom Coach – the adult in the room to help with classroom management.
