3M is looking for an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) professional for our Yamagata site. You will provide safety and environmental consulting services, leading projects and ensuring compliance. This role is central to handling all EHS duties for the Yamagata site while supporting the overall Japan EHS organization.
What You'll Do
- Handle EHS operations covering safety, health, and environment for the Yamagata site.
- Support the operation of the Japan-wide environmental and safety/health organization.
- Liaise with government authorities and submit required notifications for the Yamagata site.
- Conduct audits on EHS activities.
What We're Looking For
- Native-level Japanese language skill for liaising with government authorities.
- English proficiency: TOEIC score of 600 or above for meetings and communication with Global/APAC teams.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
- Regular driver's license for commuting.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of chemistry.
- Knowledge of processes.
- Knowledge of machinery and electricity.
