Hannover Re is looking for a Working Student - Software Development to join our Group Transformation & Operations department for 12 months. You will work part-time, approximately 19 hours per week, combining deep reinsurance process expertise with modern IT to develop solutions for critical payment processes and drive projects like Reinsurance Accounting.

What You'll Do

Analyze business requirements and formulate use cases for implementation into new applications.
Support developers in designing new features for payables and receivables.
Contribute and implement your own ideas to enrich the business.
Learn the standards of production-ready software development hands-on.
Become part of an agile team and gain exciting insights into the work of developers.

What We're Looking For

Ongoing studies in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field.
Good knowledge of object-oriented software development.
Proficient use of MS Office applications.
You enjoy working in a team, have organizational talent, and take on tasks independently and responsibly.

Nice to Have

Ideally first experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
Negotiation-fluent English skills and German skills desirable.
