Hannover Re is looking for a Working Student - Software Development to join our Group Transformation & Operations department for 12 months. You will work part-time, approximately 19 hours per week, combining deep reinsurance process expertise with modern IT to develop solutions for critical payment processes and drive projects like Reinsurance Accounting.
What You'll Do
- Analyze business requirements and formulate use cases for implementation into new applications.
- Support developers in designing new features for payables and receivables.
- Contribute and implement your own ideas to enrich the business.
- Learn the standards of production-ready software development hands-on.
- Become part of an agile team and gain exciting insights into the work of developers.
What We're Looking For
- Ongoing studies in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field.
- Good knowledge of object-oriented software development.
- Proficient use of MS Office applications.
- You enjoy working in a team, have organizational talent, and take on tasks independently and responsibly.
Nice to Have
- Ideally first experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Negotiation-fluent English skills and German skills desirable.
