Allianz Consulting is looking for a Working Student to join its Technology & Innovation pillar in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will gain practical experience by collaborating with experienced consultants on a variety of IT initiatives, from large-scale infrastructure projects to digital application platforms.
What You'll Do
- Support the team in delivering IT transformation projects, focusing on modernizing core systems, decommissioning legacy applications, and optimizing business processes.
- Increase productivity by contributing to automation and AI initiatives under guidance, while being mindful of deadlines and deliverables.
- Assist in troubleshooting problems and other relevant aspects of project delivery.
- Participate in the ideation process to develop concrete measures for implementation and improvements.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, including knowledge sharing and organizing team events.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in a German university in a relevant discipline such as business, economics, computer science, or engineering.
- Excellent command of English and high proficiency in German (C1+ level, ideally fluent).
- An affinity for solving problems and strong analytical thinking skills.
- A desire to make a difference and a willingness to be coached.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
- Proven skills in PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to perform complex functions.
- Curiosity for or knowledge of insurance, financial services, and project or change management tools.
- Student status must be maintained throughout the duration of the 6-month contract.
- Basic understanding of AI frameworks and the ability to utilize AI tools in everyday tasks, with an interest in supporting clients in AI adoption.
- Ability to start immediately for a part-time role (16-20 hours per week).
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in IT transformation, project management methodologies, or system development lifecycle topics.
- Familiarity with Allianz internal systems, such as ABS.
- A genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
