AuditBoard is hiring a Workday Reporting Analyst on a temporary basis. In this remote role, you will design and build the data and analytics strategy for the People team, leveraging the HRIS platform Workday. You will lead the full reporting lifecycle, turning complex business requirements into actionable data insights and sophisticated visualizations.
What You'll Do
- Develop and build the analytics program: help build the strategy and programmatic approach to the Analytics and Reporting program for the People function.
- Solve data needs: partner with stakeholders across the business on their reporting needs, leading to design, execution, and roll out of reports and dashboards.
- Execution: use technical knowledge to build reports, dashboards, discovery boards, and other solutions to evolve our programs.
- Reporting enablement: train other members of the People Team on best practices of report writing, calculated fields, and graphic views.
- Drive utilization: train and enable leaders to use existing and new tools, from Dashboards, to People Analytics, make data easy.
- Data consistency: drive alignment between People Team and Finance to ensure all data is aligned and easy to report for the Board and other stakeholders.
- Support Workday Admin/Manager: support major initiatives and implementations that are led by the Workday Manager.
- Drive business insight: partner with business leaders to identify and recommend opportunities to enhance efficiency and strategic decision-making using predictive and prescriptive analytics derived from Workday data.
- Support Workday enablement overall.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying complex Workday Reports and Dashboards across multiple modules (HCM, Payroll, Advanced Compensation preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Workday Report Writer and the creation of Calculated Fields (including complex functions like Lookups, Evaluate Expression, Aggregate, etc.).
- Deep understanding of Workday data structures, business object models, and security domains as they relate to reporting and data accessibility.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate technical data into clear, strategic visualizations and narratives for executive audiences.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical reporting projects from requirement gathering, solution design, through UAT and deployment.
- Advanced knowledge of how data flows between Workday and up/downstream systems via EIBs or other integration types to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Ability to handle complex, confidential data while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Discovery Boards, People Analytics, and other BI tools like Tableau is preferred.
- Workday Reporting Certification or related certifications a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira and agile methodologies is a plus.
