Responsibilities
- Process a daily queue of client website requests through a ticketing system, including content updates, design adjustments, and new landing pages
- Execute WordPress changes spanning custom CSS/HTML, template edits, and basic-to-intermediate PHP and JavaScript
- Conduct rigorous self-QA on every task: verify across browsers and devices, test all forms, links, menus, and interactive elements
- Write professional client-facing update summaries for internal review before delivery
- Work closely with developers and account managers to align on scope, requirements, and priorities
- Identify patterns in recurring issues and surface recommendations for process or template improvements
- Keep all sites secure, organized, and adhering to development best practices
Requirements
- Solid WordPress development background with hands-on experience in themes, plugins, child themes, and custom post types
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
- Experience with leading page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Gutenberg) and the ability to customize beyond their defaults
- Track record of managing multiple live client sites simultaneously
- Meticulous attention to detail and a self-QA mindset before every handoff
- Professional written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Must have prior remote work experience
- Fluent with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar)
- Have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies

- Agency or multi-client environment experience
- SEO knowledge applied within WordPress
- Experience with site speed and performance optimization
- Comfort using Git for version control
