The Web Authentication Engineering team is seeking a well-rounded, talented engineer/developer with at least 3 years of industry experience around application development using Perl on Unix/Linux platform. This global group is responsible for design, engineer and implement authentication platforms using both commercial products (Siteminder, Webfort, PingFederate) and in-house custom solutions. The successful candidate will primarily focus on writing tools to enhance operation productibility such as automation of the product release cycle including deployment, post turnover validation and audit log. Previous experience working in Security or Web Authentication field is a plus. The individual should have good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in large global organization.
Skills Required
Solid understanding of Internet technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP/s, DNS
Experience in various programming and scripting languages such as Perl or Java
Experience in building multi-tiers applications
Experience in Redhat Linux Administration
Good understanding of Linux/Windows OS
A comfortable understanding of XML
Excellent problem solving skills, in particular a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems
Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with a global teams and customers
Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and own the task of finding solutions
