Responsibilities
- Design, engineer and implement authentication platforms using both commercial products (Siteminder, Webfort, PingFederate) and in-house custom solutions.
- Write tools to enhance operation productibility such as automation of the product release cycle including deployment, post turnover validation and audit log.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of industry experience around application development using Perl on Unix/Linux platform.
- Solid understanding of Internet technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP/s, DNS.
- Experience in various programming and scripting languages such as Perl or Java.
- Experience in building multi-tiers applications.
- Experience in Redhat Linux Administration.
- Good understanding of Linux/Windows OS.
- A comfortable understanding of XML.
- Excellent problem solving skills, in particular a methodical approach to dealing with problems across distributed systems.
- Strong verbal and written skills required to interact with a global teams and customers.
- Ability to work with customers, gather requirements, and own the task of finding solutions.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working in Security or Web Authentication field is a plus.
- Experience with Python.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
- An understanding of high availability and clustering technologies.
- A good understanding of change management processes.
- Experience with Kerberos, SAML, Token based authentication and authorization (Siteminder).
