Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is looking for a motivated Wayside and Onboard Electrician to join our team. This is a FIFO role with rosters in the WA Northwest Pilbara region and some Perth-based work, where you'll execute high-standard electrical work for railway signalling systems.
What You'll Do
- Execute wayside and onboard electrical installations.
- Work closely with the Signalling Electrical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work meets a high standard.
- Undertake physical construction activities.
- Execute construction activities by interpreting signalling documentation, drawings, and functional construction documentation.
- Support the Electrical, Mechanical team and subcontractors to deliver to the project plan.
- Undertake all Electrical works in accordance with the project delivery plan.
- Comply with all Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements and initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Trade qualification in signalling and/or electrical.
- 2+ years in Railway signalling.
- Demonstrated competency in implementing Health & Safety initiatives.
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated experience working within a similar role.
- Knowledge of software tools and technical systems.
