Black & Veatch is looking for a Water Resources Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide you with a valuable, real-world experience through meaningful work assignments within a professional environment. You’ll gain exposure to our corporate culture and have significant networking opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawings.
- Perform a variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs.
- Prepare basic calculations and assist in basic equipment selection.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Schedule project deliverables.
- Collect, organize, and evaluate project data.
- Analyze systems utilizing computer modeling.
- Organize and file project materials and references.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited university Civil Engineering program with emphasis in Structural, Environmental, Transportation, or Geotechnical.
- No prior professional experience required.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected), which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
