Lincoln Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team in Parthenay. You will be responsible for the critical flow of materials, from receiving goods to distributing parts to production stations, while actively contributing to process improvements.
What You'll Do
- Receive goods by verifying package quantity and appearance, unloading pallets, signing carrier notes, and recording receipts in the SAP tool.
- Store received parts and prefabricated sub-assemblies in the warehouse according to type and size.
- Distribute parts to production stations per manufacturing orders, using processes like the 'Petit train' to supply assembly stations.
- Handle external shipments by preparing packages for small orders and spare parts, recording transport requests, and loading carrier vehicles.
- Respect all current procedures, rules, and hygiene and safety instructions.
- Propose KAIZEN actions to improve processes and eliminate non-value-added steps.
What We're Looking For
- Valid CACES 3 certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role.
- Ability to use a computer effectively.
- Practical knowledge of an ERP system, specifically SAP.
- Valid forklift license (CACES).
