Medline Industries is seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist leadership with daily operations, ensuring timely customer shipments and receipts. You will coordinate department workflow and act as the point of escalation for your team.
What You'll Do
- Lead warehouse employees through their shift to ensure safe and productive work.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for daily operational issues.
- Anticipate and coordinate scheduling to ensure effective and accurate workflow.
- Support monitoring of deliveries, cleaning schedules, and maintenance priorities.
- Train and mentor team members in productivity, quality, safety, and company values.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership regarding daily operations.
- Assist with moving products within the facility to meet customer needs accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate order receipt and shipment.
- Contribute to projects and ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and communicate goals effectively.
- Must have a high sense of urgency and customer service.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
Nice to Have
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Proficient in SAP, Catalyst, arithmetic, and communicating in English.
