Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Ltd. is hiring a detail-oriented V&V Engineer to join our team. We are seeking someone with 3+ years of experience in medical device software and firmware testing to ensure the quality and regulatory compliance of embedded systems for medical devices.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop verification and validation test plans, protocols, and reports for embedded systems.
- Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing for embedded firmware.
- Execute manual and automated testing of embedded medical device software.
- Develop automated test scripts using Python, C, or C++ and relevant test frameworks.
- Build and maintain test benches, hardware setups, and simulation environments.
- Implement continuous testing in CI/CD environments.
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
- Prepare traceability matrices, validation reports, and defect documentation.
- Work closely with embedded developers, system engineers, hardware teams, and quality engineers.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA or Polarion.
- Perform failure analysis and debugging with developers.
What We're Looking For
- A B.Tech / B.E educational qualification.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software V&V.
- Experience in Med Tech V&V, with knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 62304.
- Understanding of C/C++.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for test automation.
- Experience with hardware interface testing (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB).
- Familiarity with test and debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
- Experience with requirements traceability.
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Polarion).
- Experience with version control (Git).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Experience with embedded debugging tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in regulated medical device environments.
- Knowledge of risk management and safety-critical software.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Familiarity with clinical workflow or medical imaging systems.
