About the Role
The role will lead the development and execution of quality assurance strategies across the entire product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed quality into every phase of development.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a company-wide quality assurance vision aligned with business goals
- Establish QA processes for software, cloud services, and network infrastructure
- Lead the design and rollout of automated testing frameworks
- Oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, and defect management
- Collaborate with engineering to integrate quality practices into CI/CD pipelines
- Develop metrics to measure and improve product quality over time
- Manage performance, scalability, and security testing initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve critical quality issues
- Mentor and grow a team of QA engineers and automation specialists
- Drive root cause analysis for production incidents
- Work with customer support to prioritize recurring quality concerns
- Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies
- Coordinate QA efforts across multiple product lines
- Support certification and audit readiness for enterprise clients
- Promote a culture of quality ownership across engineering teams
- Oversee third-party testing engagements when necessary
- Align QA milestones with product release schedules
- Ensure mobile and web application quality meets user expectations
- Lead usability and accessibility testing programs
- Manage QA budget and resource planning
- Evaluate outsourcing opportunities while maintaining quality standards
- Partner with product management on acceptance criteria definition
- Implement shift-left testing practices across development teams
- Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and efficiency
