As the VP, Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering, you will design, build, and secure the technology foundations that power GIC’s global investment operations.
What You'll Do
- Continuously assess and improve the organization’s cybersecurity architecture to address evolving threats and emerging technologies.
- Balance cybersecurity, information, and technology requirements with business needs, in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite and strategic priorities.
- Evaluate, design, build, and implement robust cybersecurity platforms through proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives.
- Create scalable, sustainable, and efficient operating models, supported by comprehensive documentation, design diagrams, and process flows.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Resilience, partnering closely with stakeholders across Technology and business groups to drive secure engineering practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or asset management.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security, with a focus on platform engineering and implementation.
- Proven experience in implementing and operationalizing enterprise cybersecurity platforms, including Security Operations Tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, TIPs), Vulnerability Management Solutions, and Data Security and Protection.
- Familiarity with cloud security controls and architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g., Python, Java, C#), with strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON for integration and automation.
- Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and operational workflows.
- Meticulous, analytical, and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent professional qualifications.
