Bank of America is seeking a Senior Business Information Security Officer for the Chief People Office to join the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) organization. In this role, you will work directly with line of business executives and operations teams to provide specialized guidance on information security policies, controls, and risk management. You will be instrumental in supporting the bank's mission to make financial lives better by safeguarding its operations.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the ongoing development, implementation, and maintenance of information security initiatives for Front Line Units and Operations.
- Serve as an Information Security subject matter expert, advising on risk issues and recommending actions in support of the bank's risk management programs.
- Provide guidance on the prioritization of investments that impact information security.
- Monitor internal and external information security trends and keep leadership informed.
- Manage quality control, reporting, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
- Drive GIS/FLU/Ops risk deliverables and collaborate with risk partners on critical security priorities.
- Participate in senior risk management, business continuity routines, and key operating routines to drive information security risk strategy.
- Identify and measure global information security controls on critical business processes or channels.
- Support the triage process and help clients understand the GIS support structure.
What We're Looking For
- An Information Security & Technology professional with 10+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of risk management experience with a proven ability to apply risk principles to challenging business situations.
- Subject matter expertise in application security, vulnerability testing, and development of risk appetite.
- Experience evaluating cyber security controls and providing guidance for platform or distributed computing platforms like Cloud and PaaS.
- Experience with information security for No SQL, Big Data, and unstructured data stores such as Cassandra, Hadoop, and/or Teradata.
- Knowledge in Windows, Midrange, and Mainframe Platforms with emphasis on security and access controls.
- Exceptional executive presentation, communication, influencing, and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying technical understanding.
- Strong leadership skills and qualities enabling collaboration with peers and all levels of management.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Annualized salary range: $141,700.00 - $202,700.00
