Synchrony is hiring a VP, Dental Sales Operations to drive revenue growth by optimizing sales processes, analytics, and systems specifically for the dental industry. You will partner with sales and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights, streamline workflows, and ensure strategy alignment across the end-to-end provider journey.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and improve sales methodologies, tools, and workflows tailored to the dental industry to maximize field and inside sales efficiency.
- Define and communicate the revenue operations vision, strategy, and roadmap across Sales, Marketing, and Sales Experience & Performance teams.
- Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Sales Experience & Performance, and Product teams to align revenue strategies and ensure seamless provider acquisition and retention.
- Manage and analyze field and inside sales performance data, pipeline health, and revenue forecasting to provide actionable insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Own and maintain governance frameworks (RACI, workflows, documentation) to streamline decision-making and accountability.
- Capture potential enhancements for CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms (e.g., Seismic) and other revenue operations tools to ensure data integrity, automation, and user adoption.
- Build and maintain dashboards, regular reports, and forecasting models that support accurate revenue projections and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Ensure all sales processes comply with relevant industry regulations and maintain thorough documentation of workflows and data definitions.
- Standardize data definitions, tools, and reporting metrics across field and inside sales to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to sales teams on revenue operations tools, data interpretation, and best practices to enhance overall team performance.
- Drive scalable, repeatable processes that support growth across all business units with a strong focus on the dental industry.
- Stay informed about trends in the dental industry and healthcare technology to adapt sales operations accordingly.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, or a related function supporting sales teams; or in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional programs involving Sales, Marketing, and Sales Experience & Performance Teams.
- 5+ years of experience leveraging CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), marketing automation, business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI), and revenue analytics.
- Experienced in data governance, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue reporting.
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, cross-departmental initiatives effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience training or supporting diverse sales teams.
- Willingness to travel 20%.
- Must be able to work from a home office.
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process.
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
