About the Role
This position is at the forefront of conversational AI, focused on building voice-driven solutions that enhance customer engagement across phone and digital channels. As a Voice Bot Engineer, you will lead the development of intelligent systems that understand context, adapt to user intent, and deliver accurate, real-time responses in multiple languages.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deploy voice bots for IVR and web platforms, ensuring seamless performance across telephony systems.
- Integrate large and multilingual language models to enable natural, responsive dialogue experiences.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine conversational flows and user interactions.
- Connect voice systems to internal APIs, CRM platforms, and knowledge repositories for dynamic data access.
- Develop logic for handling unclear inputs, sentiment shifts, and escalation paths.
- Build monitoring tools to track performance, accuracy, and user satisfaction over time.
- Ensure all systems meet strict security and compliance standards, particularly around consumer financial data.
What We Need
- At least five years of experience building and maintaining production-level voice AI systems.
- Proven work with telephony platforms such as Twilio, Asterisk, or Amazon Connect.
- Strong background in web-based voice interfaces using Web Speech API and VUI principles.
- Hands-on integration with LLMs like OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic for multilingual support.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Typescript, or Python for backend development and API connectivity.
- Experience with speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies.
- Ability to work with real-time data streams and scalable architectures.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection via Cable or Fiber (Ethernet required), with speeds matching usage level: 70/30 Mbps minimum, up to 1,000/100 Mbps for heavy use.
Nice to Have
- Background in mortgage services, fintech, or regulated financial sectors.
- Experience with prompt engineering and optimizing model outputs.
- Exposure to emotion-aware dialogue systems or sentiment analysis tools.
