Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for a Visibility Solution Architect to identify security engineering needs and implement strategies that protect our military clients. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of security solutions aligned with the DoD Zero Trust Framework, coordinating with a team to design and prove out new technologies.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges using knowledge of network and security devices, applications, and tools.
- Research and develop security solutions by staying current with technology and market trends.
- Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls following the DoD Zero Trust Framework.
- Coordinate with a team to design, develop, and deploy lab proof of concepts for new and emerging Zero Trust technologies.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and network traffic for malicious activity.
- Integrate intelligence into security operations.
- Develop custom data visualizations such as graphs, tables, charts, or dashboards.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing and configuring Splunk, including architecture components like indexers, search heads, forwarders, or deployment servers.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows administration, including file paths, services, permissions, and log locations.
- Ability to integrate intelligence into security operations.
- Ability to monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and network traffic for malicious activity.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Elastic for monitoring and analysis.
- Experience with Databricks, PowerBI, or PowerAutomate.
- Knowledge of common log formats, such as syslog, Windows Event, JSON, CSV, or XML.
- Knowledge of Ansible playbooks.
- Knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) practices.
